After some revolutions of motor dr8v811 DRV getting too hot, it stops the motor like glitches. If you have a current probe, please look at the current waveforms to confirm proper current regulation.

You can try lowering VREF, which should reduce the current. How does that relate the the timing of the PWM signal sent to the step pin?
